I just received my Save the Date, when will I be able to RSVP?
Formal invitations will be sent out in the Fall, and that’s when we’ll officially open RSVPs.
If you already know you won’t be able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Our venue has limited capacity, so knowing in advance helps us better plan for our guest count. We’ll miss you, but we appreciate the heads-up!
Can I bring a plus one?
When you receive your invitation later this Fall, it will clearly indicate if you're welcome to bring a plus-one or additional guests. For travel planning purposes, if you'd like to know who from your party is invited, feel free to reach out to us now.
Are children invited?
Absolutely! We are so thankful for all the adults and kiddos in our lives, and we’d be thrilled to have our loved ones of all ages join the celebration! However, we do recognize that the reception may be too loud and/or late for some little ones, so feel free to make the best decision for your family on who to bring. Just a heads-up, the afterparty following the reception (at a local bar) will be 21+.
Who is invited to the Welcome Party?
Everyone who’s in town early is invited to join us for a casual evening get-together to kick off the wedding weekend! Stay tuned for location and details, coming soon!
What is the attire?
For our evening celebration at The Treasury, we invite guests to dress in elevated cocktail attire. Think floor length dresses, chic evening gowns, dressy separates, suits, ties, and blazers. We want everyone to look polished and comfortable, ready to dance the night away. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
Are there any colors I should avoid when choosing an outfit?
Yes...White. And any shade of white. Don't do it. Don't be that person. Seriously. <-----this is coming from Evan.
We do have a large wedding party who will be wearing dark and light green. To help them stand out, we ask that guests choose to wear colors other than green if possible. But no white (see above).
What is weather like in St. Augustine this time of year?
Highs are around 65-70°F and lows can dip to 45-50°F. You can expect a mix of sunshine and clouds, with a small chance of rain (it is Florida...). Our wedding ceremony and reception are both indoors so no need to bring those rain jackets or umbrellas for the wedding.
What lodging options are available for guests?
We’re in the process of securing a room block at the Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Augustine San Sebastian for our guests and will share the booking details as soon as it's finalized. We highly encourage everyone to stay at this hotel as we plan to only offer shuttle options to/from this hotel and will have our Monday farewell brunch here. Stay tuned for more information!
What is parking & traffic like in St. Augustine?
Parking in St. Augustine will be pretty tight during the holiday weekend. Traffic is much lighter during the daytime, and there are paid parking lots throughout the town.
For our guests not staying overnight in St. Augustine, a limited number of parking spots at our venue can be purchased for the evening of the wedding. We’ll ask who needs one on the wedding RSVP.
For those staying at the hotel in our room block, we’re exploring shuttle options. The city also offers low-cost rides around town (check out ScooterShuttle.com for more info).
Please keep transportation in mind as you're planning your stay in St. Augustine.
Is it ok to post photos from the wedding weekend on social media?
This is highly encouraged! So we can see all of the wonderful photos you take, please feel free to use the hashtag #TeamSiegel in your posts.
Will the Nights of Lights be happening during your wedding weekend?
We were so bummed to find out that the City of St. Augustine voted to end Nights of Lights a week earlier starting in 2026—so the official lights will turn off on January 11. Total heartbreak!
That said, many shops, restaurants, and areas around town typically keep their lights up a bit longer, so you’ll still get to see some beautiful displays. And let’s be real—St. Augustine is gorgeous no matter what and full of charm, history, and amazing photo ops. Silver lining: we may get to enjoy the city with a little more breathing room and less traffic (fingers crossed!).
